Dunban the Hero of the Homs

One of my favorite element in Xenoblade is the evolution of Dunban, the hero of his people who is forced to step aside and become the veteran guardian of the new group of young heroes.

The veteran member with the role of guardian/master of the group isn't a innovative element ( Auron in FFX, Mareg in Grandia 2, Steiner in FFIX, Rose in The Legend of Dragoons....), but I see something new in Dunban, his wisdom and humility are always at the forefront, he is always ready to lead Shulk and others and his only thought is to save his people always following his chivalric code.
