I had decided to skip FFV in this series of illustrations, but then I changed my mind, after all even without the Jobs the characters are not so generic and FFV is not the best of its generation but it is always one of the beautiful FF.
FFV has the problem of being placed between FFIV and FFVI which are two games that make characters building and history their strength, while the fifth chapter is focused more on gameplay, managing to be a real challenge for the player thanks to Jobs and to the boss fight.
Precisely because of this focus on gameplay, however, we have more two-dimensional characters, above all a very very banal protagonist when compared to Cecil and his cycle of redemption or to the various protagonists of the sixth chapter and their inner dramas.
When I talk about FF I always take into consideration chapters from IV to X, because I didn't find the others interesting or I refused to play them, these seven games are for me masterpieces of the Jrpg genre and when I say that FFV is one of the least beautiful I mean, however, that it is one of the least beautiful of a series of masterpieces.
